These terms and conditions should be read and accepted by you prior to your purchase. You accept that by purchasing any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.


1. Course Descriptions

1.1 Due to the fluid nature of training courses and our commitment to continuous improvement, Plymouth Business Training reserves the right to change the course content and/or trainer, at any time, in line with market demands.

2. Fees and Payment

2.1 Payment is accepted by BACS only.

2.2 Our payment terms are 14 days from date of invoice or prior to the event, whichever is sooner. Any Public courses booked within 14 days of the course commencement date are payable on booking. We reserve the right to cancel places on courses if payment terms are not observed. Payment must be received in full prior to attending any course.

2.3 In-House training must be paid for in advance of the training. In-house training dates are only confirmed once payment has been received in full.

2.4 Prices quoted for the provision of In-house training are only valid for 30 days from the date of any written quote.

2.5 All fees quoted are for the provision of services only and exclude any travel or subsistence or other expenses unless otherwise stated on the course literature.

3. Free Course Repeat Policy (open courses only)

3.1 All Repeats are subject to the following conditions:
  1. Repeats cannot be taken more than 6 months after the date of the original course.
  2. Repeats cannot be transferred and are only valid for the exact same course and delegate.
  3. Repeats are subject to courses running with other paying delegates and us having availability on the chosen class.

4. Classroom Training Delegate Discounts

4.1 All offers and discounts are made at our discretion and can be withdrawn by us at any time, for any reason and without prior notice.

4.2 Discounts are published on our "Rates" page. Only one discount can be claimed for any course. If a delegate is eligible for more than one discount, only the highest discount will be awarded. Please note: multi-delegate discounts cannot be combined with any other discount.

5. Flexible Cancellation Policy For Open Courses

5.1 Our flexible cancellation policy for public open courses lets our customers enrol early with confidence. We do not impose any penalty for cancellations on open courses as long as we are notified in writing 1 month before the start of the training. If a customer needs to cancel within 30 days prior to the date of the training then the following charges apply:

  • 29+ days before a course - Full refund.
  • 21-28 days before a course - 20% of the course fee.
  • 10-20 days before a course - 50% of the course fee.
  • Less than 10 days before a course - 100% of the course fee


  • 5.2 All cancellations, transfers, deferrals or postponements must be received in writing by Plymouth Business training.

    5.3 We are not able to offer refunds for no-shows

    5.4 Any free of charge bookings (including free course repeats) will be subject to a £20 administration charge in the event of any cancellation.

    5.5 There will be no charge if a substitute person wishes to replace the original delegate. Please inform our office using admin@plymouthbusinesstraining.co.uk of any change to the original booking.

    6. Cancellation Policy For In-House Training

    6.1 In the event of a written notice of cancellation being received by Plymouth Business Training in excess of 4 weeks prior to the training date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the entire fee is payable by the client. If written notice is received less than 4 weeks prior to the training date a 100% cancellation fee is payable by the client.

    7. Joining Instructions

    7.1 We will issue joining instructions for open courses three working days before the event to the email address provided at registration. The instructions will include a location map, venue details and course timings.

    8. Copyright and intellectual property

    8.1 Copyright and all intellectual property rights in the course materials remains vested in Plymouth Business Training.

    9. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

    9.1 In the case of classroom training, you can request a full refund WITHIN 7 DAYS of the course for public courses only (not in-house training or block bookings), stating why you are not satisfied with the training.

    10. Course Postponement / Cancellation

    10.1 Plymouth Business Training has the right to postpone a course after acceptance of registrations. If this happens Plymouth Business Training will offer the client the option of transfering the registration to a new date.

    10.2 Plymouth Business Training accepts no liability if, for whatever reason the course fails to take place – this includes hotel accommodation, flights and/or any travel.

    10.3 In the event of course cancellation/postponement due to factors outside Plymouth Business Trainings control, Plymouth Business Training cannot be responsible for any customer costs.

    11. Covid 19

    11.1 Plymouth Business Training may require all delegates to complete a Covid 19 health declaration prior to attending a course. Delegates attending open courses may also need to have their temperature screened on arrival.

    11.2 Plymouth Business Training accepts no liability if, for whatever reason the course fails to take place due to government advice or restrictions– this includes hotel accommodation, flights and/or any travel.

    12. Liability

    12.1 We shall not be liable to you for any (a) loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, interest or savings, whether direct or indirect, howsoever arising, (b) for any consequential, economic, indirect or special loss howsoever arising.

    12.2 Plymouth Business Training's course notes and training cannot be relied upon for legal interpretation.

    12.3 Neither Plymouth Business Training nor its employees, trainers or consultants can accept responsibility for the actions of delegates, or those of other people reading the course notes, or responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of relying on the course content or the course notes.The courses and materials provided by Plymouth Business Training do not comprise and cannot be relied upon for legal advice.
